Guam Regional Medical City’s director of support services, Rachelle Borja, was selected as the 2025 Region 10 Emerging Regional Leader award recipient by the American Society for Health Care Engineering.

UOG social science professor named Obama Foundation Asia-Pacific Leader

University of Guam associate professor of political science, CHamoru, studies, and Micronesian studies, Kenneth Gofigan Kuper has been selected for the 2025-2026 Obama Foundation Asia-Pacific Leaders Program. Kuper is one of 35 individuals in the region chosen for the leadership development initiative.

UOG’s Enriquez joins APAFS Board of Governors 

University of Guam’s president, Anita Borja Enriquez, joined the Asia Pacific Association for Fiduciary Studies Board of Governors, succeeding Randy Wiegand, UOG’s Vice President for Administration and Finance. 
 

 

Guam DOAG launches new official logo 

The Guam Department of Agriculture launched its new official logo designed by DOAG biologist, Jennifer Ha. The logo reflects Guam’s natural resources, agriculture, and cultural heritage and the diversity of Guam’s environment and work DOAG carries out.

 

 

GRMC recognized as a 2025 Great Place To Work

The Guam Regional Medical City has been certified as a 2025 Great Place to Work through feedback from the hospital’s employees.

GRMC announces CRRT collaboration with Naval Hospital Guam

The Guam Regional Medical City announced that it has implemented continuous renal replacement therapy into its services, making it the first civilian hospital on Guam to offer this kind of treatment. CRRT is a specialized form of dialysis used in intensive care settings to treat patients with life-threatening kidney failure, severe fluid overload, or critical illness. This was made possible through a collaboration between GRMC and the U.S. Naval Hospital Guam Intensive Care Unit teams.

BSP announces installation of 11th coastal sign at Paseo

The Bureau of Statistics and Plans installed its 11th coast sign at the Paseo De Susana Park. This latest sign joins a growing network of educational coastal signage across the island, including locations at Humåtak Bay, Salaglula (Inalåhan) Pool, Ypao Beach Park, Talo’fo’fo’ Bay, Gun Beach, Malesso’ Pier, Hågat Marina, Tepungan Beach Park, and Matåpang Beach Park to help promote coastal education and ecotourism.
